It took Eliot approximately two seconds after he woke up to recognize that something was distinctly not right. He sat up slowly, noting the -- rather drastic, really -- change in his weight distribution, especially across the chest. He didn't remember straining anything working out, yesterday, or anything else that would account for any of this. And anyway, it didn't hurt. His whole body just felt . . . weird.

Which for a guy who spent his life insanely aware of his body and how it was functioning was just a little bit disconcerting.

He finally got around to opening his eyes and looking down about ten seconds after he woke up. The growled out "Dammit, Fandom," was rather higher pitched than normal, but no less deeply irritated.

Sometimes he really did hate this island.

"Do you look like your sister?" Parker asked, intrigued. "You're going to need a belt, too. And different shoes."

"Not if I got taller," Eliot said. He hadn't actually seen himself in a mirror, yet. "And I don't -- my boots are --" Eliot looked helplessly at his comparatively dainty woman-feet. "Dammit, Fandom!"

"Why we yellin'?" Hardison mumbled, still too close to sleep to realize his voice was a few octaves higher than he was used to. "S'too early for yellin'. Babe, pretend to be sorry 'bout whatever so Eliot makes us breakfast."

Eliot snorted and walked around the bed, still topless, to shake Hardison by the shoulder. "Wake up, Sleepin' Beauty." Which he was. Because of course Hardison had turned into a ridiculously gorgeous woman. "I ain't dealin' with this crap alone."

Or just with Parker. Who was usually a woman and thus didn't count.

Hey, there wasn't a whole lot of unattractive in this room, let's be real.

Hardison whined and attempted to hide under the covers. Not that that would work--that never worked--but some things were habit. "Orrrr we could all go back to sleep an' no one has to deal with nothin'?"

Did he know what crap was going on? No. Did it matter? Also no.

Though something was tickling the back of his mind, like a piece of half-finished code, trying to catch his attention. He was going to double-down on trying to ignore it in favor of sleep, though.

Eliot pulled the covers away from him with a smirk, and lost a few seconds to ogling.

Also. . . .

"Man, you got short!"

"The hell is wrong with you, man?!" Hardison snapped, trying to snatch at the blanket. Only to become very aware of certain physical changes that had occurred in the night. He was...a little confused by how Eliot was focusing on his height right now, considering--

"THE HELL?!?"

Oh, Eliot was absolutely focusing on some of the other changes, too. He was a multitasker.

"Yeeeeeeeah. Fandom's rearin' its ugly face again."

Or adorable and well-endowed face. One of the two.

"Naw, no, uh-uh," Hardison declared, shaking his head as if enough vigor could put everything back to normal. "What happened to my class was Fandom rearin' its ugly face. This is--this is, like...like...witchcraft, man. Angry, evil witchcraft or somethin'! It just changed our bodies! That ain't even right!"

Hardison was pawing at some of those 'changes' now, trying to convince himself that, yes, they were real and, yes, he could feel them as well as see them.

He hadn't realized anything was amiss when he'd woken up twenty years older; from his perspective that weekend, nothing had changed. This was really Hardison's first brush with Fandom whimsy that changed a person. He didn't like it.

Okay, well, Eliot was a really hot woman. He didn't like most of it. A prior notification would have been appreciated, Fandom.

"...Are you taller?"

Eliot smirked. "No." Yes. "You're just really short."

Hardison had six years of little comments and jokes about Eliot's height coming right back at him, oh yes.

"Now hold still, I'm tryin' to figure out your bra size."

That was one way of putting it.

Oh, like it was Hardison's fault that Eliot was normally very tiny!

"That's what the kids're callin' it these days?" Hardison grumbled, fighting down the urge to cross his arms over his chest. "...Can you really tell what size I'm s'posed to be wearin' just from lookin'?"

He was going to regret asking that. He could feel that already.

"Yeah," Eliot said with a shrug. "Can't you? I mean, it's easier if I can get my hands on 'em, but still. . . ."

"No I can't tell just by--" He stopped, narrowing his eyes. "...Does that line actually work on women?"

HE DID NOT BELIEVE YOU, ELIOT.

Eliot laughed. "Depends on the woman." He patted Hardison on the head and stood up again. "32C. You're not going to be able to borrow any of Parker's bras, either."

"Not unless you're Eliot." Parker smiled at him and booped his nose. "You're so cute! And tinier than me!"

"I'm--how the hell did I get to be the tiniest person in the damn room?" Hardison demanded. "Is this some kinda short people revenge thing?"

Yes, he was holding his breasts in his hands and trying to judge their size for himself. Shut up.

"This place does love its irony," Eliot said. He sorted through his first aid kit until he found his widest ace bandage, and started trying to wrap his chest.

What the hell. He could do this with broken ribs, but he couldn't hold on to his own damn breast tissue and wrap at the same time.

"None of our pants are going to fit you, either."

"You know bindin' yourself that way can really mess you up if you do it wrong," Hardison noted, finally getting out of bed and ambling over to his drawer. It was mostly empty, but there were a few pairs of boxers and tank tops in there, as well as a few jeans. "Probably better off just goin' girl-commando until you can get somethin' better."

The boxers worked fairly well. Hardison was normally very lean, so his new hips gave the elastic something to cling to. His jeans were laughable, however, sliding down before he could even try to zip them up. "Seriously?" he asked, eyes sent heavenward. "Babe, you gotta belt I could borrow?"

Parker, Eliot, he didn't care who answered, so long as they said yes.

"I can't run if they're gonna be floppin' around all over the place," Eliot grumbled, still attempting to get a good angle with the bandage. Then he gave up and sighed. "Of course, my boots ain't gonna fit right for runnin', either."

Sorry, Hardison, he'd get around to the belt issue in a little bit. When he noticed his own jeans creeping down around his hips again.

"Let's hope that nothin' requires us to run this weekend," Hardison said, hitching up his pants for what would likely be the first of many, many times. "Cause I'mma get maybe ten feet before I fall over like this."

"I told you they weren't going to fit." Yes, Eliot, you were very helpful that way. ". . . You'd have to poke an extra hole in any of my belts."

Good to know Hardison's Seriously? expression remained the same, even while female. "Was I just supposed to walk around nekkid, then?"

Eliot gave Hardison a slow, lingering up and down. "Can't say I'd complain."

Classy, Eliot.

He looked down at this own chest for the umpteenth time this morning and sighed. "I guess we could get Parker to go get us clothes."

If the Seriously? expression was the same, the giggling was new. He clapped a hand over his mouth, somewhat horrified, but still pleased by the compliment. He was a hot girl! Everyone wanted to be the hot girl.

"Baaaaaaaabe," he said, swinging around to give Parker a pair of big eyes. "Could you please go get us clothes so that we're only walkin' around nekkid cause we wanna, not cause we have to?"

"Normal clothes," Eliot specified. "No tryin' to dress us up like Sophie or somethin'."
