At the docks, then out to sea, Sunday

The colors from the previous days were still holding, if maybe slightly more muted, Fandom's magic slowly fading but still managing to hang on for another day.

Seemed like a good omen as any for a wedding that Eliot still couldn't quite believe was happening.

Eliot's boat wasn't big enough for all their guests so they had "rented" (long story) a well-appointed yacht for the day. It was docked in the Port of Fandom, waiting for all the guests to board. Once the last person had crossed the gangplank, it sailed almost to the edge of the island, where blue water lapped with gray. Eliot's boat was already there, anchor down, Hardison in a tux, playing around with a sound system.

A few minutes to futz with mics and the speakers set up discreetly around the yacht came to life. "Testin'...Testin'..." Hardison murmured. Good. Everybody would be able to hear the ceremony on the second ship.

Looks like it was time to begin.

"You look so cute! You guys did such a good job!" Parker was kind of speaking in all exclamation points today. She handed over a small plate full of chocolate goodies to Kathy. "Here, eat, I'm so glad you're here. You have to come visit us in New Orleans when we get settled!"

"Is it official then?" Kathy asked, taking a candy since she knew it meant a great deal to have Parker sharing chocolate. "That's where you guys are off to?"

"I think so? That's what we keep coming back to, when we talk about it. After the honeymoon," Parker corrected herself. "And a couple jobs in Europe. And maybe one in Singapore."

It'd been a while, okay? She needed to flex her fingers, and her skills!

"Are you going right there after the honeymoon?" Kathy asked. "Or stopping back here for a bit before moving on?"

"I don't think so-- unless you'll be here?" Parker checked. "If you or Raven are, we could plan a stopover."

"No, for the most part, I'm in Limbo City these days," Kathy said. "But I'd still love to have you guys come visit! Maybe see our house? It's really big and beautiful - and you'd love the city. There's all this gorgeous and soaring Italian architecture that you can jump from."

Give Kathy a minute and she'd realize she was talking up Limbo City. Huh.
